PhD Milestone Achieved...sort of

Just a quick update to say that my University is happy with my proposed research project and has confirmed that it is, or at least will be if all goes according to plan, sufficient for the granting of a PhD. So, I have been granted a provisional confirmation with the next step being human ethics approval.

This shouldn’t take too much as my proposed methodology isn’t asking people to provide anything more than their opinions and time. But I still need to ensure a high degree of confidentiality and robustness to minimise any negative impact on my participants and my project.

That being said, I have been working on some very interesting side projects which, I hope, will be ready for public viewing soon.

That is enough teasing for now, it’s time to get back to work and in a couple of weeks, I will be calling on colleagues and connections to either put their hands up to take part in this project or spread the word to those that might.
