ASW #5: Some Friday Funnies

It’s Friday, it’s Friday! The theme for day 5 is “Wellbeing”. The old Oxford Dictionary defines that as “the state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy” and today, I’m going to try to help out with that last one with some funny aviation-themed videos from YouTube.

I’ve had fun this week with my own challenge to post every day and while I used to pump out a couple of posts a week back in the old days, some of them were similar to this post. I would find interesting things on the web and share them.

So, here are some old, older and really old funny videos and stories.

Funny Flight Attendant

This guy’s name is Michael McAdam and he is flight attendant for WestJet who likes to bring some humour into the cabin.

Seinfeld on Flying

A classic bit.

Speedbird Speed Check

Major Shul is the ultimate topper and I won’t spoil the story…

But Seriously…

Times are tough. I’m happy to have a job but I’m currently four months into a solo stint away from the family with no real date on being able to see them again. Some days are better than others. There is a lot of uncertainty around at the moment and if the weight of things is getting you down, please seek help.

If your workplace doesn’t have an Employee Assistance Program, you can try one of these organisations.
